The hype around Pinterest has continued to grow throughout the first quarter of 2012, managing director of EA Worldwide Josh Cote reveals how he uses the social platform for business.

EA Worldwide have monitored Pinterest’s developments since the launch in March 2010. Although many have questioned how the social site would add value in the world of business, the site recently announced they host over 10.4million registered users and has been named the 3rd most popular social site after Facebook and Twitter.

Pinterest can be described as an image sharing, pin-board style online social website that allows users to create and manage theme-based collections of images. Although the site has not differentiated personal profiles from business pages like Facebook and Google+ have achieved, Josh Cote, Managing Director at EA Worldwide has recently joined the site and shows other brands how Pinterest can be beneficial for business. “Creating boards that are relative to your industry is the first step. I like the idea of being able to choose as many topics as individually required. We can have general boards for morning meeting ideas, new marketing campaigns or office sports team photos but also set up more specific boards for a particular project we may be working on” says Josh Cote of EA Worldwide.

EA Worldwide agree that Pinterest can be a great visual representation of a business. The main idea behind the site is for an image to make a first impression, then allowing for website links to be attached encouraging traffic back to the businesses website. “One thing I have found helpful is using the site as a reminder board. I can keep a board full of our companies press releases and a board full of interesting articles I would like to go back and read when I have more time available” adds EA Worldwide’s MD, Josh Cote.

EA Worldwide recognize Pinterest as a platform that is filling a niche not currently covered by any other social site at this point in time. It can be used as a marketing tool for businesses by using the vast audience to promote products via shared ‘pinning’ which is essentially viral marketing.

EA Worldwide claim businesses should use Pinterest as an opportunity to visually get their brand out in-front of millions of potential customers.

Forward-thinking, innovation and drive are key elements of a successful business but incorporating these components with the right knowledge can see businesses propel beyond the competition and into a market leading stature says EA Worldwide.

Acquiring a position among the top 1% wealth-earners is something many business owners aspire to do. However, crossing the threshold from the 90 percent to the top 10 is far more achievable. To many the top 10 percent may not seem as attractive as being in the 1 percent, but EA Worldwide believe it is still a prominent position to be in and can provide for a very comfortable lifestyle. ‘For a lot of businesses, even successful businesses, reaching the top 1 percent is overwhelming and seems unattainable but if they set their sights more realistically, say on the top 5 or 10, they will see that they do in fact possess the means to make it happen’ says EA Worldwide’s Managing Director, Josh Cote.

A recent article published by Inc. on ‘How to reach the top 10 percent’, interpreted the key to success is that of hard work, long hours and education. EA Worldwide’s Managing Director, Josh Cote agrees stating ‘Building a successful business is no easy task, it takes dedication, preparation and a huge amount of hard work but it is achievable. Completely understanding your market and calculating your competitors success will give you leverage and help keep you ahead of the game’. More recently businesses are going back to basics to achieve success by implementing fundamental business building principles which can continually be developed or adjusted as business grows. ‘What we have learnt in our success here at EA Worldwide is to never lose sight of your goals. As your business evolves and grows it is important to revisit your original goals and values in order to remain true to your brand’ says Josh Cote.

In most cases, before a business can make a mark in the top 10 percent it first must dominate its market. Once a company has successfully reached ‘market leader’ status it becomes easier to progress onwards and upwards. ‘Identifying an area where there are opportunities to outperform the competition is always a good start. From there you can take the time to establish your business and promote your niche to the market’ EA Worldwide’s MD, Josh Cote explains.

It is undoubtedly a challenge to reach the top 10 percent but by focusing on and constantly developing the basic elements of building a successful business it will eventually lead towards an even more successful future, a path EA Worldwide are intent on taking.

Outsourced sales firm EA Worldwide place importance on Business Culture to develop internal communication and loyalty.

EA Worldwide state building a strong business culture enabled them a point of difference from their competitors and contributed to their growth throughout the recession. A ten-year study conducted by Jim Stengel for his book ‘Grow: How Ideals Power Growth and Profit’ reveals the businesses that placed a heavy focus on improving people’s lives grew three times faster than their competitors. ‘Creating an environment that is motivational, allows creativity and development for individuals deems a great business culture. People enjoy a company that has a clear vision and a good set of principles that focus on providing good customer service while offering support and opportunity for the employees’ saysJosh Cote, Managing Director or EA Worldwide.

To create a loyal internal team, clear communication is essential claims EA Worldwide. ‘Offering benefits to customers that extend beyond the businesses financial interest will ensure your team feel they are working towards a greater good. Feeling positive and that you have accomplished something will create a great internal business culture’ adds Josh Cote, MD at EA Worldwide.

Jim Stengel’s study followed fifty of the world’s leading businesses, including Apple, and proved that business culture contributed significantly to the success of the company. Setting high expectations can offer many benefits; if the team are strong they will meet those standards. EA Worldwide suggest by going exceeding a customer’s expectations they will respond positively which in turn will boost the businesses workforce mentality.

EA Worldwide are an outsourced sales and marketing business based in London, UK, responsible for acquiring new customers for their expanding client base, a huge focus has been placed on creating a great business culture. ‘We feel working within a great environment improves productivity and promotes higher morale. Here at EA Worldwide it is face-paced; our industry is competitive so focusing on culture gives us a point of difference, it makes us an exciting company for our clients to work with. The demand for brands or companies wanting to outsource to us has increased and I believe our culture has played an important role in that’ adds Josh Cote of EA Worldwide.

Building a business culture around the importance of quality customer interaction will be beneficial for many companies. EA Worldwide contribute much of their success to the environment they have created with the business.

Outsourced Sales firm EA Worldwide see an increased demand for direct marketing and believe it to be a more cost effective and successful way to launch a new product or drive sales.

Small business owners are using direct marketing to keep marketing costs low and large corporations are reaching out to take advantage of direct marketing to sky-rocket their sales. EA Worldwide are outsourced by businesses throughout the UK and Europe to develop direct marketing campaigns to increase customer acquisitions, promote brands and engage with consumers on a personal level. This direct marketing approach is on the rise and many top brands are shifting the focus of their marketing strategies to incorporate face to face interactions with their customers. ‘People are bombarded with hundreds ofmarketing communications each day, to stand out from the crowd businesses need to make a lasting impression – direct marketing can be a great way to do that’ says Josh Cote, managing director at EA Worldwide.

Nivea recently announced the launch of a direct marketing campaign to promote their new deodorant; Nivea for Men Deodorant Silver Protect. Using experimental and sampling promotions in UK city centres and rail station, the brand will be running a competition which will see the winner awarded a holiday in New Zealand. Andrew Rawle, Marketing Manager at Nivea Personal Care says; “The deodorant market places extreme competition so we needed a bold and stand out campaign to drive awareness, trial and ultimately long-term sales of Silver Protect.”Some of the benefits of Direct Marketing outlined by EA Worldwide; which could identify the reasons behind the increased demand include the ability to reach a specific target audience, the ability to provide immediate and measureable results and the relatively low cost involved when compared to mass media marketing.

EA Worldwide claim the demand for direct marketing is increasing as businesses look for a more unique way to interact with their target audience. ‘It’s a competitive business world out there and we see many businesses wanting to engage with their customers on a personal level. The recent campaign Nivea for Men launched was a great example of a brand creating a relationship with their ideal target audience. At EA Worldwide, we believe relationships are best built face to face and we have found a more loyal customer is acquired via direct marketing‘ says Josh Cote, MD at EA Worldwide.

EA Worldwide believe a well planned direct marketing campaign can be the most cost effective way to reach consumers for businesses looking to increase sales and awareness of their brands.

Outsourced sales firm EA Worldwide have seen major brands adopt more personalised marketing campaigns to engage consumers.

EA Worldwide use a face-to-face personal approach to market products or services to their target audience. Understanding the consumer’s needs and developing a marketing campaign that their target audience relates to ensures loyalty to their brands. EA Worldwide have increased customer acquisition for their clients by an average of 15 per cent in the first 12 months of running and outsourced campaign. The demand for direct marketing and sales services has risen considerably.

EA Worldwide have seen an increase in big name brands introducing more personalised marketing campaigns in an attempt to boost sales through consumer engagement. Last week KFC launched separate marketing strategies for women and men consumers. To launch the release of their new BBQ Rancher, a ‘healthy’ non-fried burger they developed ‘his and hers’ advertisements. Etiquette is the subject matter for the ‘female’ focused advert where the male advert has a more ‘fun-loving’ theme. “The way a product is marketed can play a big part in acquired revenue. KFC have clearly seen an opportunity to add a more personalised approach by promoting the new burger to the different attitudes towards fast food in female and male consumers” saysJosh Cote, managing director of EA Worldwide. EA Worldwide reviewed trends that emerged from the infamous Super Bowl commercials; personalised marketing was certainly prominent. Coca-Cola had different adverts ready to deploy throughout the Super Bowl depending on which team was in the lead. “This form of personalised marketing has really come forth as a strong trend this year. Coke played on the emotions of the fans by featuring polar bear’s dressed in Giant’s and Patriot’s colours and by playing an advert that helped boost the spirits of the team that was losing. Engaging consumers in this way makes the brand memorable which is more likely to lead to future purchases” says Josh Cote of EA Worldwide.

Personalised marketing is sometimes referred to as one-to-one marketing as businesses use information they have already obtained about their ideal target market to personalise their marketing strategies. EA Worldwide have seen promising results from their personalised marketing rather than attempting to target a wide audience with a generalized marketing message.

EA Worldwide among many growing brands have learnt how to differentiate their business from competitors by using personalised marketing strategies to engage their audience, a method that has seen increased customer loyalty.

Most businesses in similar industries end up duplicating products or copy pricing structures from each other, EA Worldwide say their competitive advantage is their corporate culture which makes them a truly sustainable business.

EA Worldwide claim that over time many successful businesses get frustrated with their competitors that copy almost everything they do. The only truly sustainable competitive advantage being the work environment, known ascorporate culture. Some studies suggest businesses with an adaptive culture outperform their competition by 200 per cent or more. EA Worldwide, an outsourced sales and marketing firm, work within a particularly competitive industry; they focus on attitude to develop a winning and sustainable culture, their behaviour ensures strong relationships are formed and their values are unyielding.

Understanding what culture is and then implementing it with a tangible plan is essential to make the greatest corporate culture.
Given enough time to research and enough money invested, any business can duplicate their competitors. Outsourced firm EA Worldwide argue the only way to stay afloat is to define a culture that no other business can compete with. “It often seems just as we get one step ahead of the competition they have initiated the same practices that gave us that advantage; we have to come up with a new way to stand out from the crowd. One thing I believe gives us that point of difference is our culture. No other business will ever match our attitudes, our behaviours, the relationships we have, even implementing the same values will not give them the same corporate culture that we have as it is our own. Each individual contributes to the culture therefore it will never be duplicated” says Josh Cote, managing director of EA Worldwide.

EA Worldwide claim corporate culture can excel or destroy a business. The way people act or make decisions, how they communicate, the manner and regularity of that communication, the approach to learning new skills or taking risks and how people feel about the identity of the business all make an impact on the company’s culture. “Listening to your customers and suppliers and paying attention to reviews about your company can help identify where the businesses culture’s strengths are and where weaknesses need to be improved” adds Josh Cote of EA Worldwide.

A company culture is aligned with the companies goals; it must assist predicting change and evolve with that change. EA Worldwide say this sort of corporate culture allows for superior performance and gives them the competitive advantage needed in the outsourced sales industry.

Outsourced sales and marketing firm EA Worldwide predicts new advertising and marketing trends to emerge from the infamous Super Bowl commercials.

The Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana hosted the 46th Super Bowl on Sunday February 5, 2012. With over 100 million viewers tuning into watch the biggest event in American sport many brands spend upwards of $3 million per 30 second commercial to marketing their product of service. EA Worldwide say the pressure on many brands to produce a funnier, sexier and more memorable advertisement climbs every year.

EA Worldwide’s managing director Josh Cote flew with business associates to Indianapolis to attend the Super Bowl and claims the advertisements seen will set marketing and advertising trends for the upcoming year. “Certain brands are renown for their Super Bowl advertising, Coca-Cola, Honda, GoDaddy and Budweiser appear every year and certainly come under scrutiny if their adverts are not bigger and better than the previous year” says Josh Cote of EA Worldwide.

The newest trend set by this years Super Bowl commercials is undoubtedly the ‘adverts for adverts’ claims EA Worldwide. Many brands released 15-second teasers to build up anticipation of what to expect from their Super Bowl adverts this year. Kia Motors certainly drew the the biggest pre-game audience with their Mr. Sandman advert featuring Adriana Lima and Motley Crew. “It’s an interesting trend to observe as it really allowed the brand to gauge how consumers will react and even give the brand an opportunity to amend their commercial prior to the release during the the Super Bowl. This can be seen with Coca-Cola’s advertising, they had various adverts ready to deploy depending on which team was in the lead throughout the game” adds EA Worldwide’s MD Josh Cote.

Coca-Cola’s Super Bowl advert stood out for many as it actually related to football, with the added feature of being able to change depending on how the game was panning out. EA Worldwide confirm this is an effective form of advertising as they play on the emotions of the Super Bowl audience. “To market or sell a product the target audience must be engaged, Coca-Cola did a great job at relating to people watching the adverts as its easy to forget that they are pitching their product. As we all know people like to buy what they need not be sold to so Coke have done a great job. It is a very memorable advertisement” continues Josh Cote of EA Worldwide.

EA Worldwide predict many brands will use this new trend of creating hype by participating in more viral campaigns that will generate hype around a product before its actual release. The success of the brands advertising at this years Super Bowl definitely adds validity to this claim by outsourced sales and marketing firm EA Worldwide.

The decision to offer empty Government office spaces to entrepreneurs looking for an opportunity to launch their new business ventures is strongly supported by Josh Cote, managing director of EA Worldwide.

EA Worldwide have expressed their enthusiasm and support for David Cameron’s plans to offer under-used or empty Government office space to budding entrepreneurs to help kick-start their businesses. The Government are looking to offer over 300 locations at low rates on short-term contracts in an attempt to boost the UK economy and give a much-needed a cash injection to the Treasury finances. EA Worldwide managing director Josh Cote mentors many of Britain’s young entrepreneurs and believes this kind of Government support will instil confidence in individuals who are nervous when starting out with minimal capital.

Mr Cameron said: “I said 2012 has got to be the year we go for it, the year we light new fires of ambition in our economy, the year we get behind Britain’s grafters, doers, hard-workers and entrepreneurs. This isn’t something we’d quite like to do – it’s something we’ve got to do because enterprise is critical to this country’s future. Enterprise is what we do in Britain. This is the year that, more than ever, we’ve got to go for it.” (Express&Star)

EA Worldwide are an outsourced sales company who offer customer acquisition to brands through the UK and Europe. “Subsidised office space would give many entrepreneurs an incredible start to launching their business. Renting space when you’re starting a new business can be tough, deposits can be ridiculously high and fronting the money can take a huge toll on the new business finance. Here at EA Worldwide we have expanded into many cities so I am very aware of the cost involved, it’s great to hear the UK Government are finding ways to encourage budding entrepreneurs to take the leap and get started” says Josh Cote, EA Worldwide Managing Director.

The Government are also in the process of launching “Business in You” a huge new campaign developed to encourage and inspire people to start or further develop their own businesses. EA Worldwide agree that the UK economy will recover quickly if new businesses or enterprises are encouraged to get started. Partners in the new campaign include the Federation of Small Businesses, StartUp Britain, Microsoft and The British Chamber of Commerce.

EA Worldwide currently run workshops to give advice to budding entrepreneurs on starting a business, driving sales and profit margins and preparing strategies for issues that arise for many new businesses. EA Worldwide believe the “Business in You” will prove successful especially aligned with the Governments plans to help new businesses with office space.
