EA Worldwide Managing Director Josh Cote says with only a few months till the London 2012 Olympic Games, businesses need to prepare for predicted disruptions.

London Businesses are looking forward to the expected benefits the London 2012 Olympic Games bring to the city which has been crippled by the recession over the last four years. EA Worldwide note upgraded transportation in London, the regeneration of the East End, new business opportunities, increased revenues from tourism and jobs are just some of the advantages London will see by hosting the biggest sporting event of this decade.

London based outsourced sales and marketing firm EA Worldwide highlight that along with the many benefits a sporting event like the Olympic Games brings to the city, there will also be many disruptions to consider. Businesses must prepare for the impact on their workforce. ‘The Olympic Games are a major international event and offer a huge opportunity for London to showcase itself to the world. The hype surrounding an event such as this is huge and it must be expected that a large amount of people will want to watch the Olympic events’ says Josh Cote, EA Worldwide’s managing director.

EA Worldwide claim it has emerged that very few UK businesses have taken into consideration and planned strategies for dealing with this issue. Regus, serviced offices, reported disruptions to their IT systems during the 2010 FIFA World Cup, the high number of tenants streaming games during work hours was not predicted and caused technical issues. It is also likely the London 2012 Olympic Games will disrupt transportation in the city, making it difficult for many to travel to and from their place of work. ‘One thing we have had to plan for here at EA Worldwide during this period is our clients. It is all very well planning how we will manage our workforce over this period but we must also consider how our clients and suppliers will cope. It’s important we know if and when our contacts will be available over this time’ adds Josh Cote of EA Worldwide.

The 2012 London Olympic Games will offer many benefits to the British economy and with only a few months left will quickly be upon us. With plans to use the excitement surrounding the games to boost morale at EA Worldwide, they also hope to see increased productivity and loyalty. EA Worldwide strongly suggest UK businesses use this time to make plans and put procedures in place to ensure their workforce are accommodated and disruptions to their businesses are limited.

EA Worldwide will be prepared to enjoy the many business development and growth opportunities the games will present.

Outsource sales firm EA Worldwide show concerns for Britain’s economy as newspaper The Independent reports a gloomy 2012 ahead.

EA Worldwide says understanding and managing economic risk is an essential step for any business. Control Risks, a global risk consultancy firm who help companies to recognize political and security risks internationally, expect more labour unrest in 2012. Recommendations for more businesses to take care to monitor social platforms such as Blogs and Forums and take more accountability for their online voice have been made.

An unstable future is reported for emerging markets and those global businesses investing in those markets says Control Risks. EA Worldwide are an outsourced sales firm who for the most part trade with Europe based firms, managing director Josh Cote warns all businesses should be aware of economic issues “Many brands are global. If here at EA Worldwide, we consider that all of our clients are European businesses we still need to consider that the companies our clients trade with may very well be from emerging markets which are unstable; in turn this can affect UK businesses. It’s important we are aware of the current economy and monitor it closely to ensure a secure management plan is in place”.

EA Worldwide suggest many other affairs in newspapers such as The Independent also further demonstrate the fragile state of the economy. City firms back up this claim by confirming that 16 per cent fewer jobs were created last month and claim the state of the economy is to blame. “Job opportunities have been scarce for quite some time and unfortunately this most recent statistics are not suggesting any improvement in this market” adds Josh Cote, MD at EA Worldwide.

“Changes in policies to monitor economic issues can be very easy to implement internally for a business. The reason it is an important issue to follow is strategic plans can also be employed for potential risks or in turn positive influence the economy has on the company” continues Josh Cote of EA Worldwide. The UK government and some EU legislation have begun some positive intervention with the implementation of new laws to protect businesses.

EA Worldwide will continue to follow economic trends in to 2012 and monitor where positive changes can influence further development and where risks may alter business growth.

Outsourced sales firm EA Worldwide see a change in consumers buying patterns relating to brand ethics.

EA Worldwide are outsourced by businesses to increase customer acquisitions through direct sales and marketing campaigns. A recent study of 1,000 people conducted by 23red found 91 per cent of consumers were influenced by brands ethical values. Close to three quarters of those surveyed would like to know more about the brands behavior towards loyal customers, commitments to environmental issues and relationships with charitable organisations. EA Worldwide say these changes in consumers buying patterns gives great insight into customer’s increased awareness of how their decisions to purchase certain products influence the success of a bran.

EA Worldwide work with brands from a variety of industries including telecommunications, charity, energy and entertainment. ‘We have observed this change across the board. Consumers really consider where a product has been produced, by whom it was made, and whether the brand has a reputation for considering environmental issues or not’ says Managing Director Josh Cote of EA Worldwide. Businesses are persuaded by the consumer’s growing interest in ethical issues to incorporate their commitment to reducing their carbon footprint or pledges to charities into their advertising. By promoting their link to these issues, they ensure their brand is observed by consumers are a good ethical choice.

Google claim to be ‘carbon neutral’ but recently came under scrutiny for admitting their carbon footprint is 1.5 million tonnes per year, equal to that of the United Nations. Google quickly announced their commitment to purchasing renewable energy from wind farms and confirmed they offset greenhouse gas emissions by buying carbon credits and funding green power projects. ‘Google are one of the biggest brands in the world, their ethical reputation is important and they clearly understand how consumers view environmental and ethical issues’ continues Josh Cote of EA Worldwide.

EA Worldwide, based in central London have implemented a ‘greener’ work environment and seen how important it is to both suppliers and clients they represent. Many big brands are beginning to take notice of how consumers view these environmental issues. Coca-Cola announced their commitment to making all bottles from plant-based, recyclable materials by 2020. Their 500ml drinks range is the first to implement this change which has been driven my consumer demand. ‘There has certainly been a switch the way businesses make decisions. Consumers drive how a brand evolves and how successful it will be. Gone are the days where a popular brand could dictate consumers buying decisions’ adds EA Worldwide’ MD, Josh Cote.

EA Worldwide are making preparations to monitor these changes in consumer buying patterns more closely throughout 2012.

Josh Cote spends 5 days in the United Arab Emirates in the lead up to one of 2011 most exciting sporting events, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Entrepreneur Josh Cote travelled to the United Arab Emirates with business clients to watch the much anticipated Formula 1. On November 13th 2011, Abu Dhabi’s Yas Marina Circuit hosted the 2011 Grand Prix which saw Lewis Hamilton seize victory over Sebatian Vettel who was forced to exit the race after the first lap. Entrepreneur Josh Cote an avid sports fan was thrilled to have the opportunity to attend the 2011 Grand Prix with his business clients. Josh Cote flew with the Grand Prix 2011 official sponsor, Etihad Airways to United Arab Emirates (UAE) and spent the days leading up to the event experiencing some of Dubai and Abu Dhabi’s exciting attractions.

Abu Dhabi is a world business hub and is becoming one of the world’s most desired holiday destinations, the city lies on the T-shaped Island extending into the Persian Gulf. Abu Dhabi won the rights to host the Grand Prix from 2009 until 2016 which has contributed to the city’s popularity. Josh Cote renowned for his contribution to developing small businesses and mentoring budding entrepreneurs has had many opportunities to travel the world but was amazed by what UAE had to offer. “Travelling to watch the 2011 Grand Prix was my first trip to the UAE and I have nothing but good things to say. I spend time in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai, both incredible cosmopolitan cities; they have great weather, beautiful beaches as well as having a world-class infrastructure. Arabian hospitality is absolutely impeccable – it was a fantastic trip,” says Josh Cote.

Josh Cote stayed at The Atlantis Hotel and travelled with clients from Dubai to Abu Dhabi to watch the Formula 1. The race was won by Lewis Hamilton in a McLaren-Mercedes. In second place was Fernando Alonso in a Ferrari, followed by Jenson Button in third place in a McLaren-Mercedes. Sebastian Vettel, in a Red Bull-Renault, retired after a puncture in the first lap. “Formula 1 is an exciting sport and the atmosphere at Yas Marina Circuit was great. Lewis Hamilton definitely took advantage an unfortunate situation for Sebastian Vettel who was in pole position before puncturing a tyre whilst going round the second corner during the first lap,” adds Josh Cote.

Josh Cote enjoyed the event so much; he plans to attend the 2012 Grand Prix.

The Royal Berkshire Shooting School played host to a fundraising event for The British Red Cross where businesses or individuals could sponsor or participate in a clay pigeon shoot.Entrepreneur Josh Cote who has a particular interest in The British Red Cross through his business ventures was thrilled to take part in the event which raised over GBP23,000 for the charity. ‘It was a great day! Spending the morning out in the English country side, lessons and education from professional instructors and raising money for a fantastic charity – a brilliant event’ comments Josh Cote.

Josh Cote who lives in London’s city centre travelled to Pangbourne, located less than an hour outside of central London to the grounds at The Royal Berkshire Shooting School. The spectacular countryside boasts over 150 traps replicating high pheasants, driven grouse and coveys of partridges. ‘Since expanding my business to the UK I have spent a lot of time working in the city, I’ve really appreciated getting out into the country to soak up the environment’ adds Josh Cote. The morning’s clay shoot was followed by a 3 course lunch by renowned chef Mike Robinson.

Clay pigeon shooting has become a popular sport in the United Kingdom; it consists of shooting at flying targets known as clay pigeons with a shotgun. The Royal Berkshire Shooting School has seen a growing interest in corporate and charity events taking part in the sport. Josh Cote agrees it’s a fantastic location to host networking conventions, team-building activities or charity events.

Entrepreneur Josh Cote takes steps to prepare for Global Entrepreneurship Week which will take place from 14-20 November.

Josh Cote a successful business owner (EA Worldwide Acq.) and entrepreneur will promote Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) to encourage many budding entrepreneurs to put plans in motion to start businesses and assist with developing work opportunities for others. Kauffman Foundation and Enterprise UK founded Global Entrepreneurship week in 2008 and signed Youth Business International to become the national host for 2011. Since beginning in 2008, Global Entrepreneurship Week has spread to 115 countries worldwide.

“The growth of GEW has been amazing. To think it started in 2004 and in less than 8 years has become a success around the world, promoting the benefits of entrepreneurship and encouraging a higher level of ambition from young people,” says Josh Cote.

Josh Cote works with many small UK businesses and is in favour of advancing the education of entrepreneurship and its benefits as he believes it can improve the economic welfare of the United Kingdom.

“I believe a lot can be gained from creating work opportunity for yourself and others. The benefits are endless, independence and freedom to work wherever or however you please, earning potential – as you determine the value of the product or service your business offers, the ability to be original with ideas. Of course there is always an element of risk but that creates excitement and helps drive a business forward which I think contributes the many positives,” comments Josh Cote.

The goal for implementing Global Entrepreneurship Week was to give advice and support to people wanting to start a business. It is suggested that over half the population of Britain want to start a company but less than 5% actually ever take the plunge. Many seminars and events take place during GEW to outline the process to starting a business and combat many of the concerns that people have. Results from GEW 2010 show that 35% of people who attended an event were less likely to hold back starting a business by fear of failure. There was an increase of 60% in the number of participants who considered entrepreneurship as a good career choice.

“Last year’s results are really encouraging. The awareness of entrepreneurship benefits generated through Global Entrepreneurship Week has been really positive,” adds Josh Cote.

Josh Cote has plans to run workshops and conference calls for business owners in the outsourced sales industry to further promote entrepreneurship benefits.

Josh Cote was thrilled to speak at the Manchester Leadership Conference, which was held at The Old Trafford Lodge at Lancashire County Cricket Club earlier this month. The convention hosted 500 attendees and was aimed at supplying people with the tools needed to further develop leadership skill which could be applied to their personal and professional lives. “I am definitely always eager to speak at conferences that revolve around leadership topics and I believe it is a huge part of any businesses success, whether that’s a small firm of 5 people or a huge corporation of thousands. There was a fantastic turn out of close to 500 people so that was very encouraging,” says Josh Cote. Josh Cote’s efforts in fostering the education of entrepreneurship encouraged individuals in self-employment to attend and further develop their small businesses.

One of 8 speakers, Josh Cote’s presentation demonstrated how leadership skills can evolve a business. “Leadership can influence the behaviour of people we work with, can change the course of events, increase production and overcome resistance, all of which are a huge part of a businesses growth and success. Poor leadership can ruin a great business so it is important to ensure the right skills are in place before starting a company. Our aim with this conference was to provide education on leadership and demonstrate the influence it can have on a business model,” says Josh Cote.

Josh Cote, an entrepreneur and business consultant started his first business in Boston, Massachusetts, USA at the age of 25, he has gone on to expand his outsourced sales company into the UK and Europe.

EA Worldwide advise new graduates to use the difficult economy to their advantage by using their focus and ambition developed in university to be more entrepreneurial.

EA Worldwide consider the figures published in the London Metro reported by the Higher Education Statistics Agency suggesting 27.7 per cent of graduates remain unemployed or out of full time paid work even 4 years after graduating from university. EA Worldwide deem these figure as alarming and are in support of more emphasis on building relationships between universities, employers and the promotion of student entrepreneurship.

EA Worldwide, an outsourced sales and marketing company based in London Bridge has thrived in the economic downturn and offer all suppliers trading with their company opportunities in a Business Development Scheme to encourage entrepreneurship in the UK and Europe. ‘The recession does not have to be a negative condition for new graduates. It should be looked at as a great opportunity to encourage student’s natural ambition to be successful and use their entrepreneurial spirit to create their own opportunities for work’ says Josh Cote, Managing Director of EA Worldwide.

Optimistically, almost 4 out of five graduates believe their education has been worth the effort even with employment options for new graduates at an all time low. ‘Gaining a degree is hard work; it requires a lot of discipline and focus so graduates should definitely feel a great sense of achievement and be confident that their education has not gone to waste, it will be recognised in the long run. Gaining work in their chosen field is just the next challenge and what better way to get what you want than to start your own business.’ adds EA Worldwide MD, Josh Cote.

EA Worldwide maintains a strong interest in fostering the education of entrepreneurship so was encouraged to learn through The Independents report of the number of postgraduates from 2007/08 to 2008-09 enrolling in entrepreneurship programmes rose by 22% (http://www.independent.co.uk/student/postgraduate/postgraduate-study/ … 19291.html).

EA Worldwide encourage an entrepreneurial mind-set and use examples of young entrepreneurs like Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, Runescape, Andrew Gower and Mashable, Pete Cashmore (http://www.retireat21.com/top-young-entrepreneurs) all while under the age of 30 started their own businesses and created their own work opportunities. ‘These are great examples of young ambitious individuals who had a business idea or recognized a gap in the market and decided, despite their lack of life experience, to go all out and create success for themselves which intern has eventuated in thousands of employment opportunities for other people’ says Josh Cote of EA Worldwide.

EA Worldwide sustain their view that graduates should look into taking part in enterprise training or engage their entrepreneurial spirit to develop their own work opportunities and make their own success.

EA Worldwide Acquisitions is a leading outsourced customer acquisition company. http://www.eaworldwide.co.uk/

Josh Cote a London based entrepreneur is committed to fostering greater education in entrepreneurship and insists building credibility as a young entrepreneur is fundamental to new business’ success.

Josh Cote deems a strategic business approach essential for success. This week Josh Cote has considered the figures presented by the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) show 3.3% of young adults aged 18-24 years are involved in entrepreneurial activity. Josh Cote an entrepreneur who started his first business at the young age of 25 in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. He has assisted many small business start-ups in recent years, in addition to his consulting with young entrepreneurs. Josh Cote recommends a considered approach to developing a business plan and ensuring a strong mentor with no personal attachment. ‘Young entrepreneurs are very inspirational people to work with, they are ambitious and energized. One thing I believe is extremely important when lacking hands-on experience is being focused and having an advisor who can give you unbiased and constructive counsel or criticism. A strong focus and realistic view of what can be achieved will help build credibility’ says Josh Cote.

Credibility is an essential and distinguishing attribute in business. Josh Cote spent many years building relationships and trust with industry partners. ‘It’s tough initially especially as a young person, all you want is someone to take a chance on you and trust that you will follow through with what you say you will. Building undisputed credibility can take time but I guarantee that being genuine in business will go a long way, the goal is to under-promise and over-deliver’ adds Josh Cote.

Josh Cote counsels small business owners mostly who have started companies in the recent economic downfall and advises businesses launching during the recession that it can be a major advantage. Developing longevity and ensuring success in a new start-up can be difficult to predict but many industries have proven ‘recession proof’. Online retail, outsourced sales, domestic tourism and consultancy have all established a reputation for continual growth through the credit crunch. ‘Knowing whether your business idea is viable and that there is a market for it is an obvious first step but something that some young entrepreneurs seem to overlook. Looking at figures from the industry and analysing competitors to forecast accurately is another very important step’ says Josh Cote.

Josh Cote since starting his first business over 11 years ago has taken and given much advice on building credibility, particularly within the outsourced sales industry. Josh Cote can endorse claims that business professionals look to trade with businesses and suppliers they trust based on relationships developed. Young entrepreneurs should put a lot of focus on gaining credibility to build a strong and successful business model.
