The world of marketing is constantly changing and companies constantly feel pressure to keep up and continue to evolve. EA Worldwide Acquisitions explain how businesses can take advice from the Vision 100 to drive their business forward.

Nowadays, businesses face many challenges. The marketplace is constantly changing and business owners must come up with great ideas to outrun competitors, says EA Worldwide Acquisitions. “It is important to be up-to-date with what’s going on, how industry trends are changing and to be creative at the same time,” explains Josh Cote, entrepreneur and managing director of EA Worldwide Acquisitions.

Marketing Week created their Vision 100 list for the second year in a row in partnership with Adobe. It is a list that celebrates the biggest names from the world’s biggest brands but also start-up business owners, challengers and SMEs. The idea was to create an exclusive club of the brightest, the best and the most visionary executives that use data to help their business grow, hire smart and match up to the pace of change. “It is an absolute honour to be in the Vision 100 table and we can learn a lot from those companies and individuals who drive success by predicting and adapting to the constantly changing environment,” says Josh Cote of EA Worldwide Acquisitions.

On this year’s Vision 100, 44 per cent of the names on the list are on the executive board, 59 per cent have an international remit and a significant 74 per cent are mentors to younger professionals. All Vision 100 members come from a variety of industries such as retail (17 per cent), food and drink (16 per cent), media (9 per cent), travel (5 per cent) or the public sector (3 per cent).

Outsourced marketing firm EA Worldwide Acquisitions have filtered out the advice they take from the Vision 100 professionals. “Business owners who want to achieve continuous success should listen to the recommendations. No matter how long we have been in business, we can all take some great information from the suggestions made,” adds Josh Cote of EA Worldwide Acquisitions.

Vision 100 companies constantly focus on what is right for their brand. According to April Adams-Redmond, Chief Marketing Officer at Kerry Foods, these marketers filter out “an endless barrage of mindless static and noise in order to be able to identify the rare one or two things that will really make a difference.” This allows them to “continuously look at the world with fresh eyes in order to spot the next big thing.”

The amount of data available and methods for gaining insights are changing businesses and their recruitment process. Josh Cote of EA Worldwide Acquisitions agrees with Julia Porter’s statement, Director of Consumer Revenues at Guardian News and Media, that brands need to rethink the external impact of using data in marketing and ensure that consumers understand why it is important and how it is used.

Furthermore, in line with EA Worldwide Acquisitions’ company culture, Vision 100 encourages businesses to prioritise learning, foster talent and create an environment where knowledge can be shared.
